@profeadams @BartleKSLsports @nmgarn_utdude @MUSSemeritus Thanks, I’m excited for Scalley! It could go either way next season but time will tell. I wouldn’t say BYU is the flagship athletic program, but they definitely are doing much better in football and basketball the last couple seasons.

But BYU is the flagship athletic program of the state now. We’ll see how long that lasts. Best of luck with MS. He seems like a good guy.

I think they were appealing to KW’s sense of fairness after assuming they had leverage bc KW wouldn’t want to coach elsewhere. Oops.

He insinuated that there may be grounds to pursue the matter further, given the implication that Whit didn’t fully uphold his end of the agreement. Ultimately, time will tell.

@BustersBcs26600 @BartleKSLsports @nmgarn_utdude @MUSSemeritus Did you read the letter? MH specifically said they weren’t fighting it and wanted to move forward. Any team can entice any coach, anytime to resign. Utah misjudged Whit’s desire to continue coaching, to their regret.

@iiTzz_Tyrell I agree, many current players may not have known Ty and Aaron, but the message is still meaningful. It shows that anyone—including fans—can honor loved ones by submitting photos and being part of the tradition. Scalley should make it his own moving forward.

@BustersBcs26600 For real, and while it has an outstanding message, none of the players relate to it anymore, so somehow they need to incorporate that tradition with current players too.

@BartleKSLsports @nmgarn_utdude @MUSSemeritus It sounds like there may a future settlement as the AD says Whit didn’t follow his end of the contract for a “smooth transition” of the football program. This is incredibly frustrating and sad after 21 years. Onward and upward with Scalley!

@Brick_Pitino It’s not bad, it’s a little sour for my taste, salsa should not contain red wine vinegar, or lemon juice, especially lemon juice concentrate. I grow fresh vegetables and can salsa each year and it’s light years ahead of this stuff…sorry bro, for a store bought jar it’s just ok.

Let's get serious for a minute. Being very good in a good football conference is fun. Being dead last in the BEST basketball conference in the nation with the BEST teams SUCKS. We'd be a different fanbase in hoops if these were the Majerus years (I know I sound like a 1984 Zoob). We're GenX Utah fans, we started our Ute fandom as hoops fans. And we play ELITE hoops teams today that we would've stood in line on the snow to watch back in the day, but today we're rebuilding AGAIN, not fun being a doormat. The new gen Ute fans aren't stoked for hoops (they haven't tasted a Sweet Sixteen, let alone an NCAA 1st round). So it's gonna be the 90's and 2000's fans who will come back to watch these amazing teams come through the Hunty when we have a pulse. Sleeping Giant needs to WAKE THE F UP! So, let's dump a bunch of that $500M and buy ourselves the talent we need to compete in this league. I can guarantee you that the tournament could be held in Greenland and we would show up WHEN we are elite again. It's not fun spending money to see us get stomped by the middle pack teams. LFG! Go Utes!

@Uteman_forever @byu_report That was generous of Scalley—he didn’t have to do that. For comparison, Sitake is the second-highest-paid coach in the Big 12 at about $9.5 million (Scalley makes nearly half that), trailing only Deion at $10 million. Hard not to question whether that’s a bit overpaid.

@JeffBiesinger In-N-Out has great value for a quality burger, while 5 Guys burger is good its twice the price with overrated, soggy fries. Although Five Guys has more locations, In-N-Out is far more efficient, earning nearly four times more per store, which is why their lines are always longer.

My kids talked me into In-N-Out again tonight. So, now I’m waiting in a long line for garbage food… again. I will never understand the appeal of this place.
