Have just returned from a routine Dr appointment and the waiting room was full of new Plaid supporters. Happy they have a party in Wales that wants what is best for us. All ages 20 to 80. It was wonderful.

The First Minister, Rhun ap Iorwerth, has today announced his cabinet for Government. Good luck to all those members taking on additional responsibilities. Wales is depending on you. The most striking appointment for me was Llyr Gruffydd MS, long seen as the Rural Affairs heir apparent. What is now ‘apparent’ is that Wales no longer has a “Rural Affairs Minister”….as such. The farming brief has been rebranded as “Rural Resilience and Sustainability” which could be another sign that agriculture is being viewed through the lens of sustainability targets and green ideology instead of food production and supporting farming families across Wales. Farmers wanted a strong voice for rural Wales. Llyr Gruffydd MS certainly has the CV, he also has a shiny new net zero job title to go with it. 👀 Wales has voted for change. Time will tell what ‘change’ delivers. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

No one seems to be talking about the fact Reform didn't have the result they hoped for in the Welsh election. They fell well short of what they said they'd get. They only got 29% of the vote. You can't be the voice of the people if over 70% of the people demonstrably don't want you to be their voice. Why do you think Farage didn't show up? He doesn't want to be associated with falling short. We saw this when they lost in Caerphilly last year, he was no where to be seen.
