@RealBlackIrish The builders have been on site for 7 years already, dug an underground cellar, swimming pool, gym. The full works. How an earth they got planning permission is beyond me. The builders told me the owners are from Pakistan and laundering/washing dirty money!

@RealBlackIrish A few hours ago I delivered to a Grade II Listed Victorian master piece. The property is in Saffron Walden, the property dates back to 1865. The new owners have gutted it. Demolished the 4 bedroom cottage next to it and built your typical new build mansion. A total mismatch!

🇬🇧 Jewish leaders, MPs and community figures have launched the UK’s largest ever Refugee Shabbat, with 66 organisations now taking part across England and Scotland.
More than 50 attendees gathered in London, with speakers emphasising a moral responsibility to support refugees and warning against rising anti-migrant sentiment.
Events and initiatives are now taking place nationwide, focused on integration, interfaith cooperation and support for asylum seekers.

Found an 89 year old lady sprawled on the pavement. Called ambulance service. Asked me 50 stupid questions. She’s been waiting for paramedics with what looks like a broken femur for 35 mins. So far.
