I can’t say I have been perfect. In fact, I am far from it. There are days I have snapped at them, then run to my room and cried out of guilt. There are days I have wished school resumes so, I don’t return home to the mess they turn the house into. There are times I am too tired for their uncoordinated stories. I can go on but despite all that, they are the cutest, most precious little humans I will ever meet and I am the best mother they will ever find. I have been broken, hurt, manipulated, and disappointed but I remain the woman carrying wounds I never deserved….and still trying to raise someone who feels safe. You are not a bad mother, you are HUMAN Happy Mother’s Day to everyone raising a child.

By issuing direct "instructions" to committees on how to shape the Sovereignty Bill, the Executive is overstepping. The principle of separation of powers is not a suggestion—it is the bedrock of our democracy. Let Parliament do its work without coercion or "guidance" from the top.
