Zulu people took money out of their own pockets to come together, buy food, pay for accommodation & hire transport, to travel 900km to attend the march in East London. They sacrificed so much for a good cause. And Xhosa people welcomed them with love and unity♥️😭 Sisonke🙏🏽

♦️ Do Not Miss It♦️ The President and Commander-in-Chief, @Julius_S_Malema, will appear at the East London Magistrates’ Court on 15 April - 16 April 2026 for a pre-sentencing hearing stemming from a politically motivated charge related to the EFF 5th Anniversary Celebration. We will not be deterred! #HandsOffMalema

March and March has been having peaceful protests for the longest time. They have never burnt vehicles or caused any destruction yet they have been mischaracterised as vigilantes. What’s happening ku Gompo is clearly criminal elements that want to cause havoc and blame the peaceful demonstration in order to taint the genuine concerns of illegal immigration in SA. This also exposes the lack of State capacity as public order policing is failing just like Home Affairs has failed to manage illegal immigration in the country.

It’s Time to Defend the Rule of Law! Today, ActionSA is marching alongside March and March and traditional leaders of the Eastern Cape in KuGompo against the unlawful coronation of a Nigerian “king”, an act that undermines South Africa’s Constitution and recognised traditional leadership. Our country’s sovereignty must be protected at all times. We cannot allow parallel authorities to take root in our country. #ReadyForAction

They must be arrested @SAPoliceService we cannot have self appointed people checking documents and beating people up. Two wrongs do not make a right, if that man is using fraudulent documents, he must be reported to the police. They will make the determination with @HomeAffairsSA

My sincere apologies in advance to Tsonga/Shangaan-speaking workers whose nationality is being abused in the video. This moment reinforces the need to strengthen our resolve and uphold our principles against mob justice, street justice, regionalism, and xenophobia

Dear @IOL I suggest we test your journalism ethics in court. 🙏🏻 We have no problem with fair criticism but what we do have a problem with is using your platform to label people and organisations in ways that influence negative perception while completely ignoring the real issues. Ramaphosa will announce Masemola's suspension and then he will appoint some unknown provincial commissioner of North West who will then decide not to renew Mkhwanazi's contract. Then KZN will burn and we'll have new furniture 😂😂
SABC News@SABCNews

JUST IN | President Cyril Ramaphosa says he will make an announcement soon, following the summons issued for National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola to appear in court next month, on a matter linked to Medicare24 tender.

Slaughter.
Slaughter.@BafanaSurprise·
I would like to sincerely and unreservedly apologize to @Julius_S_Malema and his family for the hurtful and damaging statements I previously made. Upon deep reflection, I recognize that my words were not only inappropriate but also unfair, and I deeply regret the pain and distress they may have caused both personally and publicly. I take full responsibility for my actions and acknowledge that what I said may have negatively affected Mr. Malema’s reputation, as well as brought unnecessary attention and discomfort to his family. No individual or family deserves to be subjected to such harm, and I am truly sorry for crossing that line. Over time, I have taken the opportunity to reflect on my behavior and the broader consequences of my words. This experience has been an important lesson in accountability, empathy, and respect. I have come to understand that public figures, despite their visibility, are still human beings with families who can be deeply affected by what is said about them. I regret not considering this before making my statements. I want to make it clear that I am committed to personal growth and to ensuring that I do not repeat such actions in the future. I am actively working on being more mindful, respectful, and responsible in how I express myself, especially when it involves others. Once again, I extend my heartfelt apology to Julius Malema and his family, and I sincerely hope that, in time, they may find it possible to accept my apology and see the genuine remorse behind it. In closing all the posts about honourable @Julius_S_Malema will be deleted, I am making an oath that I can never ever mention his name again.
