@SCREAMwithRCS I thought this movie was decent but a little uninspiring. That said, the ungenuine, political thrashing this movie has gotten from critics disgusts me. Editors glossing this over in major outlets everywhere like it’s ethical. People who mad this film deserve better.

Scream 7 restored so much about the franchise for me after the disappointing Scream VI, with the following redeeming qualities: - the obvious recentering Sidney Prescott - actually giving Gale earned character development - allowing Mindy to be likable and shine - a heroic main character > a morally grey one - a great acting performance from the Ghostface actor - original motive, not repetitive - powerful emotion and expert dialogue - subtle, thoughtful homages, not empty Easter eggs - natural Evans family unit > the forced Core Four - an epic opening scene that went off without a hitch - effortless acting from the younger new lead - cinematography, setting & score felt like SCREAM - showing new and complicated sides of Sidney and Gale as opposed to writing them one dimensionally - respecting legacy instead of running away from it - goes without saying, but victims of GF who actually had names and were part of the main cast, bonus points for the incredible visuals in the death scenes - a full soundtrack with original songs as opposed to 1 single I just find Scream 7 to be superior to Scream VI in every way. #scream #scream7 #ghostface #nevecampbell #screamvi

@HorrorHammer1 His frankenstein’s monster was awful, but his Dracula was deeply underrated. Man Made Monster might be his second best creature behind Wolvie.

@ScoobyScream Just don’t watch trailers bro. Not trying to sound smart, that’s what I do. YouTube premium, cord cut obviously, go to movies 15 minutes later than start time right before actual movie plays. Went into Scream blind as I do every movie last few years.

I need the Scream 8 trailer to show us far less than the #Scream7 one did. Specifically, I don’t want to see any of the opening…I’m so tired of feeling like I’ve already seen the entire opening before even watching the movie for the first time 😭

@popetheking As a huge fan of Karloff and Whale’s film, this looks so demonstrably unappealing.

#TheBride is an audacious, unique, and one-of-a-kind idea that’s brilliantly brought to life but sadly doesn’t hit the home run it was aiming for. I LOVE the concept, I LOVED Bale and Buckley so much, but the rest of the film felt repetitive and overly long. I wanted more.

@jseesmovies @ScoobyScream Williamson’s original opening was to have Ghostface going after Neve leading people to think she was going to get Adrienne King’d or Sean Brody’d, only to have Neve kill him followed by a ‘One Year Later’. Alas was changed when Kruger came in. That’s why what we got is weird.

@ScoobyScream Yeah unfortunately that opening is only good upon first watch. Once you know what's coming, it just doesn't work.

As much as I love Scream 4, the opening is definitely one of the weakest. Credit to them for trying something different though.
