GRB STiKS youth teams 9u, 10u, 11u, 13u, and 14u went a combined 14-9 in the Arizona tournament this past weekend. All played in meaningful games on Sunday. One champ & one runner up. Most successful trip to AZ for this group. Great leadership & coaching in the STiKS Youth Org!

#OnThisDay 70 years ago, missionaries Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, Ed McCully, Roger Youderian, and Pete Fleming were killed by an Amazon tribe in a remote region of Ecuador. I thank God for their obedience and courage—they were willing to risk all for the sake of the Gospel. I believe their lives have inspired untold numbers of missionaries to go to difficult places over the last 70 years, and I pray their powerful testimony will continue to challenge another generation of Christians to take the hope of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. Jim Elliot was absolutely right when he said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.”

We will all meet God someday, and He calls each of us to be ready. Through the atoning blood of Jesus, we can stand before Him with joy, not fear. I pray this message reminds you that the only true preparation for eternity is trusting Jesus as your Savior.billygraham.org/decision-magaz…

This morning at the @SamaritansPurse Greensboro hangar, we celebrated the retirement of our McDonnell Douglas DC8 aircraft and gave thanks to the Lord for the 217 missions it took across the world helping in Jesus’ name. With nearly 1 million flight hours logged in its lifetime, the stories this plane has are incredible, some of which we heard today. Although we are sad to see it go, we are excited for the legacy that our new @Boeing 767 will take on. @SamaritansPurse is thankful that both @JonathanFalwell and @Greta could attend and share their stories of the DC8. Most importantly, I want to thank our incredible aviation team that makes this capability possible.
