A team of 3 and all they had to do was steal the work of an entire team of animators! Wow the power of theft is outstanding! You can literally do anything without a moral compass!

Today, nobody is grieving that this job doesn't exist, and nobody wants to be an Elevator Operator because nobody wants a job that robots can do. Artists will work on establishing new styles and training AI and that's fine

My peers often look at my work and say “I can tell Beth made that.” But AI doesn’t have an identity.

All of those things are part of trying to replicate a style which the AI is trying to do and can clearly do to some success.

None of it is infringement, because it doesn't put out replicas of anything. AI imitates the style, same as a person would.

@criticalurban If you spend any considerable time in a place where trains, trams and buses can take you wherever you want/need to go in a reliable manner, then you'll understand what car dependency is.

I don't know what car dependency is, but I sure enjoy being car enabled to go where I want, when I want.

Ppl have admitted that they're using the game as a litmus test to see if they're a "real ally." 🙄 A real ally would care about things that are effective. Boycotts don't work.

@keffals I don't understand the ppl who are like "why can't you just play another game?" I thought the point was to use JKR's IP against her as a form of protest. Imagine the optics of "Hasanabi charity streams HL, raises $$$ for trans charities while JRK screes."

@Sol_Diablo_ @ThatCmonster The products people choose to turn into a morality litmus test is really arbitrary. Y not condemn ppl who buy coca cola? Nestle? Literally everything you buy is going into the bank accounts of evil ppl, and with a huge franchise like HP there's no material gain from a boycott.

@andicdayo Things I wear for skiing from top to bottom: Helmet, ski goggles, gator, windbreaker, long underwear, snow gloves, snow pants (but they also have those ski overalls if you prefer), long ski boot socks. Everyone else's advice here is good too.
