It isn’t an article saying the vaccine is going to destroy mankind as the vet in the video has said it is suggesting abandoning lockdowns and instead isolating vulnerable people. Sweden tried this and it failed.

@GenevieveEM @suzanne_moore The vaccine didn’t work out too well for the Polio virus though did it? Viruses need hosts to replicate and they need to replicate to mutate. They don’t sit in the wind and think hey if I make this change I can infect more people!

@debsinamillion @suzanne_moore In that case we will have to continue with decades of no events until we have a grip on this. This virus is changing, it has already become more contagious and some evidence shows more severe disease. The more we allow it to spread the more opportunity it has to mutate.

@Buttmonki @suzanne_moore Are we talking one dose of vaccine or 2? Still no data on how effective Pfizer is with 12 week gap. What if boosters are needed to combat new variants? What if immunity only lasts 6 months for some people? I think it is a step too far for domestic events.
