A tiny bee just did what chemotherapy couldn't. Scientists in Australia discovered that honeybee venom can wipe out 100% of aggressive breast cancer cells in under 60 minutes. And the healthy cells around them? Barely touched. The breakthrough came from Dr. Ciara Duffy and her team at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, working alongside the University of Western Australia. They tested venom drawn from 312 honeybees and bumblebees across Australia, Ireland, and England. The target: triple-negative breast cancer and HER2-enriched breast cancer. Two of the deadliest, most stubborn forms of the disease. The weapon: melittin. The same tiny peptide that makes a bee sting burn. At one specific dose, melittin tore through cancer cell membranes completely within an hour. Within just 20 minutes, it shut down the chemical signals cancer cells need to grow and multiply. Bumblebee venom, which lacks melittin, did nothing. Zero effect, even at high concentrations. Scientists then recreated melittin synthetically in the lab and got almost identical results, meaning no bees need to be harmed to develop the therapy. Published in the peer-reviewed journal npj Precision Oncology, the findings are still early-stage. Human trials haven't happened yet. But one thing is clear. Nature has been hiding answers in plain sight all along, sometimes inside the smallest creatures on Earth.

A win tonight sends Pep into a coma and puts us one game away from the the title. Which rival fanbase is physically sweating this Arsenal vs Burnley match the most right now? 😰🧵👇 • Man Utd • Man City • Liverpool • Chelsea • Tottenham #ARSBUR #PremierLeague #AFC

🚨🎙️ Alan Shearer on the Premier League Player of the Season race: “If Arsenal go on to win the Premier League, which I honestly think they will, then Arsenal players absolutely have to dominate the Player of the Season conversation. You cannot ignore the impact they’ve had this year. Now listen, I’m not taking anything away from Bruno Fernandes because I’m a huge fan of him. He’s been outstanding for Manchester United and, honestly, who knows where United would even be without him this season? His creativity, leadership, and numbers have been brilliant. But if we’re talking about the players who have truly driven a title-winning side, then I’m putting three Arsenal players right into that conversation, Declan Rice, David Raya, and Gabriel Magalhães. Declan Rice has been the engine of that midfield all season. David Raya has saved Arsenal countless times in massive moments, and Gabriel has been an absolute monster defensively. Those three players have been the backbone of Arsenal’s success this season. And this is where it gets controversial for some people, if Arsenal win the league after competing on multiple fronts all season, then how can the Player of the Season award go to someone whose team spent most of the campaign fighting outside the title race and mainly playing one competition? Individual numbers are important, yes, but football is also about influence, consistency, pressure, and delivering in the biggest moments. Arsenal’s key players have done that week after week. For me, if Arsenal finish the job and lift the Premier League trophy, then the Player of the Season should absolutely be staying at the Emirates.”

🚨 Thierry Henry reacts to Bruno Fernandes equalling the assist record against Nottingham Forest: “People can talk about matching records, but context matters. A lot of Bruno’s assists come from corners, set-pieces and situations where the game is already stretched. My 20 assists came mostly from open play, creating chances in real attacking moments against organised defences. That’s a completely different level for me. When you dominate games the way Arsenal did back then, teams sit deep against you every single week. Creating from open play consistently in that environment is the hardest thing in football. That’s why I still believe that record is untouchable in terms of quality. And honestly, the VAR decision with the Mbeumo handball later in the game was a complete scam as well. I don’t know what referees are looking at anymore. Fans just want consistency but every week there’s another decision that nobody can explain.” fictional

@JBFootyX The Only reason Evra wants an Arsenal loss is because how vocally critical he has been of us over the years, He conveniently forgets that all teams fans can be delusional.

🚨🎙️| Patrice Evra: “If Arsenal win the league, the internet will be messed up, that’s why many rival fans do not want it. Arsenal fans can be delusional, to be honest. What really makes me angry is that Manchester City gave Arsenal the opportunity to lift the trophy. I’m not sure Burnley can do this for football and get a draw; that itself brings so much doubt. The game tomorrow will determine whether Arsenal lift the trophy and no one wants that.”

🗣️ Mark Ogden on Sky: "If Arsenal win it, they’ll fade away because other teams will only get better. If they don’t win it, they’ll fade away because it will be seen as the last window."
