We did it y’all. Completely overwhelmed with the level of kindness and support and presence that was spread across the desert this weekend. For me, for @artblocks_io, for artists, collectors, institutions, foundations, critics, enjoooyers, and most importantly for each other. For our partners, our sponsors, for the local Marfa community. For the nature, the landscape and the skies. The kindness, support and presence was palpable, almost crunchy. Thank you. A tremendous amount of work went into crafting this experience and it would have been meaningless without you. I feel a shift where timeframes are being measured less so in days and weeks but in years and decades. And I feel like I was surrounded by people that acknowledge the fact that we are all together building towards something incredibly meaningful at the intersection of artistic expression and a hyper connected society. The blockchain is to digital objects what film was to the lens. A recording format to capture and preserve and share ephemerality. But the tech is starting to take a back seat. We all love and adore the tech but the focus is increasingly shifting to how it allows us to express ourselves, and how it networks us in ways that were previously not available. This is a really good thing. For those that made the journey, my deepest gratitude. Guinness book of world records levels of hugs and high fives were had. For those that wanted to but couldn’t make it, I promise you that you were there with all of us too. Whether it’s because of family reasons, getting time off from work, a special occasion, visa issues, or simply the cost, I recognize the complexity of making the journey. Just know that we made some progress in the West Texas desert. On many fronts. Progress that will have ripple effects as we continue to build a kinder and more wholesome version of the internet together on the world computer. 🫂

Stablecoins are fine, but they have some major shortcomings. That's why, after years of planning, I've finally launched a new coin to disrupt the payments industry and take crypto mainstream. I'm proud to introduce: Burnt US Dollars ($bUSD) Here's how it works... 🧵

Universal Rayhatcher by Piter Pasma (@piterpasma) is an experimental @fx_hash_ project built from 6,942 characters of JavaScript. It lets collectors write their own SDF (Signed Distance Function) formulas, rendered with Pasma's rayhatcher algorithm. Today, six outputs were acquired by @quantize_d on Raster. 👏

There’s a 100% chance @artblocks_io would not exist today if it were not for @matthall2000 and @pents90 (@larvalabs) launching @cryptopunks in 2017. These guys launched punks and created that magical “aha” moment that made everything click for a lot of people, basically consuming many of our lives every. single. day. since. And then they followed that up with seeding one of the most authentic, curious, experimental, tight knit and bullish communities I have ever been a part of. The downstream effects are remarkable, and all with absolute authenticity and zero expectations of what the future held. Hard to imagine what this place would be like had these guys not done what they did. It’s even harder to imagine anyone else in the world I would be more honored to close out Art Blocks Curated than them. Grateful for all of the passion love and support from @artblocks_io @shillrxyz @NaughtalieStone and others in making this release come together as well as the community for their excitement around Quine!!! 🍻

Happy minting birthday, #Skulptuur! It was four years and about 45 minutes ago, today. A monumental project I had worked on for over half a year, but one that I had been preparing for all my life. @artblocks_io

objkt
objkt@objktcom·
🔵 In your opinion, which artists on objkt deserve more recognition? Ida: I believe the following artists deserve far more attention. What they each bring and what they risk makes their work essential. @NoOneNoise is a deeply thoughtful creator whose work on Tezos explores motherhood, gender identity, mental health and non heteronormative themes in ways that feel rare and urgent. Her art is poetic and challenging, weaving together personal and societal narratives that push viewers to reflect on what is often unseen. Because her style is not built for easy virality, her social media presence is small but that seems part of the strength of her work. @hosseinyektapo1 captures the darker undercurrents of human experience. He renders emotional pain, grief, and suffering with an honesty that is hard to look away from. His art is not about comfort, it is about holding up the reality of what hurts, and showing its depth. @piterpasma is a code wizard. His generative art shows not just mastery in algorithmic complexity but also startling efficiency. He invents systems that feel impossibly intricate yet clean which is rare in generative art, which often leans toward either chaos or overly mechanical precision. Though @shinnoak passed away about a year and a half ago, his Tezos work remains unforgettable. He was one of the few who could cast a truly dark, almost mythic atmosphere and make it beautiful. His pieces are memorials and invocations at once. A visionary in generative art, @jMarkusiewicz creates visuals where code and aesthetics fuse so completely it is hard to tell what part is algorithm and what part intuition. His pieces are not just beautiful, they often feel architectural or sculptural in light, motion, and structure. @JeffClark builds bridges between generative code and the texture and subtlety of traditional media. Some of his works approach what you might expect from a classical painter with brushstroke, depth, layering but created through computational systems. That tension is what makes his art compelling. @terkarak is one of those rare artists who refuses boundaries. He shows the flaws, the ugliness, the human shadows not to shock, but to hold up a mirror. His art challenges comfort, asking us to accept imperfection and vulnerability. @N3onbone is newer on the scene and interesting in part because of the narrative aspect. His work traces the emotional journey of a lonely man, an ongoing story unfolding through his art. It feels less like isolated works and more like chapters of a novel told visually. @Mohimohi2121 is a carefully detailed master of geometric form. Collected already by prominent names like Erik Snowfro, she works with color, shape, and symmetry in ways that feel meditative and precise. What is especially exciting is watching her style evolve, with small shifts in composition and new uses of space and negative space. If she collaborated with a generative artist she could push her concepts even further. @intersect_NFT does GIF animation work that often sells on primary markets at prices that seem low for the technical weight they carry. The pieces loop, shift, draw you in. @dhikaprimawan's darkness is not darkness for its own sake. Each piece shocks the soul to wake it up. His works force you to think, not just look. @LaurenceFuller is both poet and visionary. The messages in his art cut deep, addressing identity, beauty, belonging, future, and memory. I am also impressed by how he uses AI tools not as gimmicks but as part of the expressive process, where human intention still clearly shines through. Known primarily as an actor, @vincentdonofrio / @GraphiteMethod's ventures into Tezos especially through collaborations with Laurence Fuller show a rare generosity to experiment outside one’s primary medium. His presence helps expand the conversation. @Kopfgestaltung creates immersive audio visual worlds on Tezos. It is not just what you see, it is what you hear and how visuals move. Their work feels full, sensory, like an installation you can inhabit. @fatiemeah is wonderful, and if I am not mistaken has been curated twice by Goldcat for the Medici collection. That suggests recognition, but I want more people to look at her work, the details, the textures, the emotion in each stroke. @BaharAlaaee’s strength is showing difficult perspectives. Her art often engages with tension, whether social, personal, or uncomfortable, but the way she handles it looks effortless. That is rare. @formlessxyz is an unusually extraordinary mind whose creativity pushes boundaries like almost no one else’s. They work with disturbing motifs including blood, gore, and the grotesque, yet channel these into highly inventive visual languages. It is shocking, uncomfortable, and brilliant. Their art expands what we even mean by art. 🖼️ Pictured: Kopfgestaltung - Signature by @Kopfgestaltung

Countless individuals have helped shape the digital art landscape over the years. Everyone from collectors to mods to curators to institutions to platforms and artists have all played a role in getting us to where we are today. But Jack, alongside Jalil, stand out to me as part of a smaller cohort of defining contributors. They represent the definition of the innovation, integrity, creativity, and democratization that highlight the beauty of digital art on the blockchain. And it is a very proud moment for Art Blocks and for me personally to have their work included in the Art Blocks 500 as a curated release. 🫂
