Hope Pies have been in a tough training phase, because there have been glimpses of flatness, if not sloppiness. Ball use has been pretty average - Pendles and Bobby Hill will really help. Thank god Nick’s on another level. Keen to judge where they’re at next week against Lions

Pies do not know how to play safe. They can’t. It doesn’t work. Nearly lost to Hawks rd5. Conceded lead to Crows r11 but had time to get back lead. Blew big lead to Freo to end in a draw. Run over by Dogs. Nearly lose to Carlton last week. And then blow tonight.

@DamienRactliffe Agree 💯 They’re getting bullied, physically over powered, taunted, no structure, can’t hold onto the ball, can’t create territory pressure, it’s awful. They need to become the hunter again.

Pies fans don’t want to hear Craig McRae say that he told the players how proud he was of them. Enough of that. We want a ropable coach. What was his plan for Merrett? Why did he let the Bombers take so many uncontested marks? Where was the pressure, particularly Q3?
