We kicked off our @UEFA B Licence pilot this week with @ShamrockRovers first team players with an intro session.
The pilot is designed to support current players balance coursework & playing by integrating their education into their own environment!

@tikitakafc1 @dvehendo @FAICoachDev Yep and as someone else suggested once approved within same time limits the vetting should cover any work/volunteering across orgs/clubs
English

@FAICoachDev lads if you are going to constantly return garda vetting applications due to "wrong information" can you at least inform what issue is. Extremely frustrating for FAI connect users. It's enough to put you off volunteering

@Decbur @JoeCassidyIRE @IrelandFootball @alancaw @refsupreme @ExaminerSport @DanielHussey2 Or make it a pyramid like they’re trying with adults. Top Leinster, Munster, Connacht team etc bye to go up to LOI via plays off. Might have more kids stay with their grassroots clubs and make the whole system stronger
English

@JoeCassidyIRE @IrelandFootball @alancaw @refsupreme @ExaminerSport @DanielHussey2 The result is the result but surely these boys would be better served playing high level DDSL, some of the LOI academy results this weekend are huge
English

Absolutely disgrace putting results up like this. Kids are trying their best, but putting up 15. 2 .is gone a bit too far and some other results as well @IrelandFootball @alancaw @refsupreme @ExaminerSport @DanielHussey2

@BuzzmanNo1 @dvehendo I do a bit of work with Veo so I have a good idea of what’s coming there too, really impressive. That said, I still try to stay neutral. AI tools like Impact Soccer are top class, upload a full game and it auto clips everything to a pro standard while generating detailed data.
English

@AndyMk_83 Do you think Amass could come back next season and perform the role? Even as an understudy to Shaw?
English

@CCD_Essex It’s not to do with the education. There’s a shortage of coaches & volunteers and clubs can’t be as strict with their ethos or they’ll lose coaches. It can be competitive at Uage level without coaches teari mg players down. Positive reinforcement, proactive coaches & repetition
English

I have to respectfully disagree. It's all too easy to say it's Coach Education.
From my viewpoint as a Coach Developer, the learners that attend the courses are given all of the tools necessary to enable them to go away and create a fun, enjoyable learning environments. 🧵1/3

Something needs to change! For me it’s the coach education, what changes would you make @CoachRockGC ?

@Captive0Portal Noticed it yesterday but for all we know he could’ve an injury on a foot that prevents wearing a shoe. 🤷🏼♂️
