The flopping in general is disgusting, but SGA is the worst! I bet OKC g2 but it wasn’t enough, so I was happy he didn’t get fouls every time he dived to the ground after shooting (news flash it was a lot). Him not getting the calls actually caused him to do it less as the game went on imo, whaddya know! Can’t stand the flopping and that the @NBA is encouraging it by not cracking down. They actually have rules and they aren’t enforcing them. This is worse than the tanking problem imo. Shai is amazingly talented and if a 2-time MVP and arguable best player in the world is doing it (as well as a bunch of other stars and players tbc) - it will clearly encourage other guys and young kids to keep practicing and do it as well. That is not an enticing future proposition. The other thing that makes it so tough to like OKC is they flop hard on O and are soooo rough on D. The dichotomy and how the refs whistle their games generally is jarring.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has fallen to the ground on 17.4% of his shot attempts in the playoffs, per @tomhaberstroh

All I’m saying is I’ve rarely met a 10-handicap who doesn’t claim to hit their 5-iron 200 yards. And… I’ve never seen a 10-handicap hit their 5-iron 200 yards.

@ZachBrowne It's no coincidence that there was a documentary released recently that is about Bob Lazar and his whistle blowing from the late 80s about the fact that we are not alone. The video is called s4 the bon Lazar story and it's wild really worth the watch.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, I really don't care anymore, but the way this UFO disclosure is being rolled out is not organic, at all. When major news outlets are reporting on alien races, famous skeptics are changing their beliefs, old stories are re-appearing as if they are new across the huge network of podcasts and news organizations, and new stories are being pushed every day... This decision was made from the deepest part of the deep state because the engine bringing it to us is their primary propoganda and disinformation network. In other words, whatever they are about to tell us or show us, I will be, and I suggest you be, very, very cautious about believing. Something is afoot here... We are getting AI with ubiquitous data centers, increases in global conflicts, energy and agriculture is about to take a huge hit, and new viruses all about the same time we are going to be told aliens are real. We need to use discernment on everything right now.

Nick Wright on the debate if LeBron James tenure in LA was a success: “LeBron the record is 8 years with the Lakers, 7 trips to the playoffs. 2 seasons where they made a conference finals and 1 championship. And you’re going to have folks today earnestly genuinely try to argue that LeBron Lakers tenure was a failure. To which I would simply say or ask and don’t even add I’m not even asking you to add any age related qualifiers to it. Has Giannis 13 year Bucks career been a failure? Because in those 13 years, Giannis has 1 trip to the finals, 1 championship, and 1 trip to another conference finals and that’s the exact same thing as Bron in his 8 with the Lakers.” (Via @WhatsWrightShow)

In 2004, I was a bartender at the Cask 'n Flagon next to Fenway Park. I'll never forget what this series was like in Boston. Down 3-0, everyone in Boston said, "The curse is real, maybe next year." Down 3-1, everyone said, "Well, we were bound to win one." Heading into game 6, the city started to feel different. The series was 3-2, and everyone knew no one had ever come back from a 3-0 hole. Especially not the cursed Red Sox. Still...maybe? There was no social media back then; everyone watched the same thing at the same time. It was one of a handful of truly shared social experiences I've been a part of. "Where are you watching the game?" When they won game 6, people started to believe it was destiny. Every single bar and restaurant was showing the game, and people came out of their homes to watch it in public spaces, hoping to be part of something historic. French restaurants, coffee shops, and any place with a TV became a packed sports bar. I was behind the bar for Game 7. The game was played at Yankee Stadium, but the bars next to Fenway were at capacity for hours before the game. I've never been in an environment like that since; the tension and the excitement, the "what if we actually do this?" People hung on every pitch. When they made the final out just after midnight, the place exploded. People celebrated, thousands came down to the Fenway area and ran through the streets. I watched the broadcast show people running through the streets as they ran past the bar's windows. No phones, no selfies, no Instagram, just people living in the moment. Everyone on that team has a special place in Boston sports history. Whenever I see this video, I'm reminded of how incredible sports can be sometimes.
