@Savman200 @FullyChargedDan @myGridGB Ships run on HFO, heavy fuel oil, and that yellow glare is from the crazy high sulphur content in HFO. Nothing at all like the diesel coming out the pumps which has a 10ppm sulphur content, which is extremely low. Diesel is not the enemy!

@FullyChargedDan @myGridGB Interesting thoughts.Used to live in Gibraltar where on still days you'd see yellow diesel smog appear in no time from the vessels around the area! Its a horrible horrible product, producing a cocktail of toxins and a distinctive smell that I recognise with deisel cars in the uk.

@Savman200 @FullyChargedDan @myGridGB No, it depends on the age. Newer (2015 onwards) Euro 6 diesels produce less harmful gasses and significantly less NOx than equivalent petrols, not to mention less co2 from their better fuel economy. Massive misconception.

@FullyChargedDan @myGridGB Shouldn't new deisel cars be banned already? They produce the most toxic air including much more nitrogen dioxide and pm2. 5 than petrol engines. Get them off the road and our our would already be significantly better.
