THE #NFL NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE WHAT THE HELL THE REFS WERE DOING IN THE 2019 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Something was very wrong…

🚨 DEVELOPING: Limestone University says it needs $6 million in immediate funding— or it may be forced to shut down its campus at the end of the Spring 2025 semester, effectively ending in-person classes, athletics, and student life in Gaffney. If that happens, it would be a massive blow to Cherokee County and the surrounding region. Limestone has been a cornerstone of the community since 1845. Emergency meetings were held this afternoon with faculty at 2:00 PM and students at 2:30 PM. Athletic practices were canceled. While a full closure is on the table, the university is also considering a shift to online-only operations. The Board of Trustees is set to meet again on April 22 to determine next steps. Meanwhile, students are left facing serious uncertainty: ▪️ Many transfer deadlines at other colleges have already passed ▪️ Scholarship students are unsure if their financial aid can transfer ▪️ Off-campus leases could result in expensive penalties if broken early Limestone says it will be reaching out to students directly with more guidance soon. I’ll continue to follow this developing story.
