@NextGenNero I haven't seen a game crash this months since I played Outriders on launch on a PS4 Pro.
Throughout the course of the full playthrough, it crashed my PS4 no less than 19 times. And I'm talking about crashes so bad I'd have to unplug my PS4 to hard reset it.

Sadly, I will be putting my PS5 Pro playthrough of starfield on pause. I love this game and my favorite thing to do is exploration but the constant Crashes are ridiculous. I’m about 10+ hours in and I’ve had about 7-8 game crashes. Disappointed with Bethesda lack of optimization

Starfield has been all I’ve thought about since coming back for the big updates 🚀
The updates have made a great game even greater, and it’s been so awesome seeing new captains on the timeline hopping in for the first time😎

I find it amazing that folks on this app are perfectly ok hurling insults and making wild assumptions but the moment you ask them to be accountable and turn on a camera to talk to you directly, they fold like a house of cards

@DestinLegarie That's the Bethesda we know and love (to dislike).
They've literally been building slowly on (and barely fixing) the same engine they've been using since Morrowind...a game from the early 2000s.
Most PC gamers will refuse to play Bethesda games without mods. That says a lot.

Level design was all over the place in quality.
Some bosses were poorly balanced.
One of the worst and most convoluted skill trees I've seen in a game in this genre

It peaked at 131K concurrent players.
Marathon couldn't reach that.
Wuchang launched poorly optimized with no marketing follow through.
Beauty didn't fail. The product did.

The Hypocrisy of the Loading Screen Argument is so hilarious when you look at Mass Effect /KOTOR and how NO ONE ever complained about the loading screens, lack of space flight, or lack of manual ship landings and take offs compared to Starfield.

@elbethium I loved the Lord's if Shadow games. I can understand why Castlevania "purists" may not have liked them, but they were a bold (and more importantly FUN) reimagining of the series origin.
LoS2 had some missteps with the stealth stuff, but I felt like it was under appreciated.

But it had 0 God Of War in it. Castlevania had these elements before it came out, with the Lament Of Innocence, another Castlevania banger.

@_Deez_Games Yup. It's pretty sad when the front page on a digital store for a company like Sony is 90% shovel-ware that you'd expect to see on mobile phones.
It gets tiresome needing to sift through PAGES of $1-$5 trash to find the real games that took more than a day in MS Paint to make.

I would love the ability to filter things OUT of my search. Being able to remove anything under £4 would pretty much eliminate all shovelware and help me to see real games made by passionate developers 🙌

The "ship it now, patch it later" mentality that's been pervasive since the late 2000s is one of the major things that's been slowly poisoning the game industry from the inside.

"fun" being a requirement for games is what keeps this medium from being taken seriously you're going to tell me Requiem for a Dream, The Downward Spiral, Blood Meridian, Guernica, etc, are "fun"? masterpieces have to be interesting, not necessarily "fun"

Devs in the 80s thru 2000s thrived because they made what they WANTED to make and play themselves.
