@missdcox Educational theory is cyclical. This years hot new strategy will resurface in 5 years with a different name. Good teaching is intuitive, regardless of theory good teachers are just good teachers.

@MissFolorunsho If they don’t know it by the morning of exam not sure there’s much ‘impact’ you can have. Reassure, offer encouragement, wish them luck.

Does anyone do ‘warm up’ sessions for year 13’s/11’s early morning before the exam? If so what impact have you noticed? Thinking to host one this week.

@missdcox @MissFolorunsho Nice to offer a few words to the anxious and overwhelmed. Toast, a brew and a bit of reassurance doesn’t go amiss, certainly for ours anyway.

@MissFolorunsho What's the purpose? You can't really measure impact? Other than asking students their opinion on them-What works? What doesn't? I worry that they cause unnecessary stress for some students and little impact on those that should've been doing something for 2/3/5/7 years?
