I think Kentucky can easily upgrade the Jelavic departure I just don’t wanna see Kam Williams jumping in that portal

@judo_janitor @Brewtalityx @Cincitucky1 Insane to think that’s what anybody is arguing for. Just don’t be a dick? It’s entirely possible to have the highest standards and hold the coaches and university accountable without constantly bad mouthing 18 YO recruits/players. Are you intentionally this dense?

Hearing that both Mark Pope and John Calipari have privately vented that UK’s fanbase has negatively affected recruiting since 2020. Other schools use the fanbase and the negativity against UK and it has cost multiple elite recruits.

@Brewtalityx @Cincitucky1 Social media was highly prolific around 2010. Everyone was on Facebook and instagram back then. The reason the fans weren’t dogging the teams back then online, is because the teams were good. Not saying you should go after players moms, but criticism is fair. All time wins leader

Armani Mighty- 6’10 C (Mercer) 13.2p/10.6r/1.7b - 64.5/53.9ft Physical interior big who dominates the glass, finishes efficiently around the rim, protects the paint, and plays with strong motor and toughness inside. Won the Souther DPOY this season too.

@RoushKSR Embarrassing shit @RoushKSR. Keep encouraging people to be assholes. It’s much more intense at UK. #1 being that there’s only 5 starters in bball and we are by far the most insane bball fan base. Vol twitter and Bama have a minimum of 22 starters to spread the hate for football

It's not an issue, it's an excuse. Blaming a fanbase for being mean when you're losing is creating a scapegoat. Be better.
Douglass T Graves@DougieGraves69

@RoushKSR Yes. There are crazies in each fanbase. The way we go about things is on a different level. Until we’re able to be self aware enough to admit it’s an issue the same problems will exist

@RoushKSR Insanely retarded mindset. “I should be able to be an asshole without these recruits getting upset” Y’all are braindead if you think our angry fans are just like any others. If you expect 100% of these kids to just log off, then I’m not sure you understand how the world works

If you think Kentucky is the only crazy college fanbase out there, go take a stroll on Vol Twitter, see how things are down on The Plains. Don’t be naive. The internet is a wild place. If you don’t like what you see, log off.

Kentucky signed a 12 year deal with Fanatics and a 15 year deal with JMI. Maybe these will be good but what whatever happened to standard 3-5 year contracts? Why does Kentucky insist on signing mortgage-length partnerships with unproven NIL companies?
Tyler Thompson@MrsTylerKSR

NEW: UK Athletics has signed a 12-year extension of its deal with Fanatics to include a first-of-its-kind NIL program. Select UK athletes will be able to promote officially licensed merchandise through the retailer in exchange for compensation. on3.com/teams/kentucky…

I’m sorry. The 20 something year old crowd will never get it. The NFL made a mockery of itself with the jersey number policy change and I don’t know if I’ll ever get over it. A tight end wearing 9 is a disgrace and just gross.

@John_Fanta As a collective, we need to discourage unpaid internships, no matter what our personal experiences are. Of course you got great experience, it’s a job! You should’ve been paid! Many people miss out on opportunities because of that exact reason.

Most people can’t afford to be exploited for their work. We need more media people to discourage working for free. There is no excuse for making people work for no pay.
John Fanta@John_Fanta

Keep saying yes. Find a way to take on any and every opportunity regardless of the sport. Be the same person off the air as you are on it. Also, be willing to work for free, it happens but it'll pay off. And take feedback - when people give it, it means they care. Here to help!

@LosTalksPats @Patriots Weakest shit I’ve ever seen. Lost all respect for Vrabel. And he got the easiest road to the SB possibly ever and still got smoked. Dude will never be back if this the way he leads

#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel on TreVeyon Henderson’s controversial post: “I love TreVeyon… He cares deeply about his faith… I want them to be able to express what they believe… But, I also wanna make sure that they’re educated. We want to be inclusive.” (🎥 @Patriots)

The #Lions made Frank Ragnow return part of his signing bonus after retiring early, continuing a franchise policy that dates back to Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson, per President Rod Wood, via @DaveBirkett: “Our precedent goes all the way back to Barry Sanders… And I think the reality is, they’re not paying back their money, they’re returning our money, because they were paid in advance for services that they hadn’t completed.” More here: freep.com/story/sports/n…
