Nordics are walking back the cashless society initiative because their centralized implementation of the concept is too fragile. Cash turns out necessary as a backup. @RenIsLyfe @dopetard @hashflownetwork @renprotocol This is interesting but unless there’s a good degree of decentralization I don’t see why it’s any better than ripple or binance dex where all nodes are run by the same entity and therefore centralized. What Hashflow is proposing doesn’t require a bitcoin token issuance.

@RenIsLyfe @dopetard @hashflownetwork @renprotocol Last I remember, Renvm was using Shamir scheme to distribute the secret required to spend the BTC on bitcoin blockchain among several nodes and then using those locked funds to issue a btc token.
