New aircraft measurements from Hurricane #Beryl show a central pressure of 948-949mb, a few notches higher than the last mission several hours ago, indicating some weakening, though northern eyewall surface wind estimates remain at ~150 mph. Beryl has been battered by wind shear and weakened somewhat so far today, but not rapidly as of yet. Beryl's level of resilience over the next 12 hours will determine how bad conditions get in #Jamaica tomorrow. Residents should be prepared for a major hurricane strike.
