Earlier today, a user attempted to buy AAVE using $50M USDT through the Aave interface. Given the unusually large size of the single order, the Aave interface, like most trading interfaces, warned the user about extraordinary slippage and required confirmation via a checkbox. The user confirmed the warning on their mobile device and proceeded with the swap, accepting the high slippage, which ultimately resulted in receiving only 324 AAVE in return. The transaction could not be moved forward without the user explicitly accepting the risk through the confirmation checkbox. The CoW Swap routers functioned as intended, and the integration followed standard industry practices. However, while the user was able to proceed with the swap, the final outcome was clearly far from optimal. Events like this do occur in DeFi, but the scale of this transaction was significantly larger than what is typically seen in the space. We sympathize with the user and will try to make a contact with the user and we will return $600K in fees collected from the transaction. The key takeaway is that while DeFi should remain open and permissionless, allowing users to perform transactions freely, there are additional guardrails the industry can build to better protect users. Our team will be investigating ways to improve these safeguards going forward.

Paying 100 people onchain = 100 separate transactions That's just how ERC20 works But ERC20x distribute to thousands in a single tx, or stream continuously to everyone at once It's the same token standard, actually built for how money should move 🌊

PSA -- We're doing our first Streme Presale this week. - Starts sometime tomorrow (Dec 10th) - The presale will last for ~5 days; anyone who participates in the presale gets the same terms. - We will not be keeping the the project a secret before the presale ... it's @beamrstreamr!! - ETH proceeds will be used to buy the token in the same transaction as the token launch, **ahead** of any snipers. Tokens will be locked for 24 hours and then streamed in real-time over 7 days. - The maximum Presale cap is 1000 ETH. We do not expect to reach this cap. Definitely not within 30 seconds. But happy to be proven wrong on this point. Try us. - Immediately after the presale is over, the Streme coin will be live for trading. - We will continue to highlight @beamrstreamr and team across a few channels. - Expect us to iterate on how /streme presales work

First @stremefun presale is now live @beamrstreamr streams Farcaster engagement rewards in real-time - set your rate once, every like/comment/follow splits continuously Tokens unlock and stream over 7 days post-launch No cliff dumps, just continuous distribution 🌊
