The interceptor closes the speed gap at double or triple the Shahed’s velocity and destroys it through kinetic impact or proximity detonation. The pilot retains final manual control for jamming resistance. The entire engagement costs less than dinner for two in Dubai. Now Zelensky has turned this battlefield necessity into a geopolitical asset. Under defence pacts signed in March 2026, Ukrainian training teams are actively working with Gulf state militaries on co-production, operator training, and AI guidance module integration. The same drones that protect Kyiv from Russian Shaheds will protect Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, and Doha from Iranian ones. The technology is identical because the threat is identical: Iran manufactures the Shahed, Russia deploys it against Ukraine, and Iran deploys it against the Gulf. I've been to museums and also have family generations back who had pictures of people starving - russian soldiers forcing Ukrainians to gather wheat and crops - and then loading it onto trains - then the train and the soldiers headed back to Russia. Russia hate to admit to their awful history of violence and aggression over poor people and citizens. So Russia like to re-write history - much as they are doing just now - saying that Ukraine attacked them, and that Ukraine was a part of Russia. All lies, all fabricated history. The good thing about history, there are always other sources that will give the true information.

If you mean my Ukrainian friends, they all blame Putin and Russia - they also have many memories of historic events that devastated and killed many millions of Ukrainians in order for Russia to eat. Perhaps that's the kind of question we should be asking? What might lead Putin to believe that they would be open to being under Russian influence again? They don't, and they certainly don't want Ukraine's future generations to ever have that experience.

Really? The world wasn't too worried with Biden as President, he was old, but he could act very well in a presidential manner, and it was just at the end of his tenure that he started slipping. He falls asleep during important meetings and forgets what he should be talking about - so picks up a Sharpie and creates a whole story. Trump calls the armed services losers, and doesn't respect anyone who lost their life in service of their country. Finally, Trump is obliterating America's reputation as a progressive, educated country. Now, it's a laughing stock around the world, and while he's been in his role, Mark Carney has managed to turn every bad decision that Trump is making, to a positive for Canada. Canada are no longer counting on their neighbour to work with them, they're out there, creating collaborative contracts and plans with many other countries, and America is losing $billions of potential work or sales to a country that was your biggest importer. Trump is a disaster.

Yeah I've heard it was that way in the 30s and 40s and stuff I think in the 50s it also was still doing it because the house I grew up in there's this little tiny hatch in the carport that I was little enough to crawl through if I locked myself out but my mother said that it was for milk delivery. I didn't understand that because obviously I didn't live in that time. But that's a thing yes.

My wife says this never happened. Does anyone else remember when milk came in glass bottles and the milkman would deliver it to your doorstep before sunrise? You’d leave the empties out for him to pick up!
