@robpizzola Seems like a cultural thing? I usually don't see it, but have seen it on some planes with people of certain ethnic backgrounds.

@trillydonovan you are quoting Goodman. Would not be the first time he got it wrong he invented a quote to support a false story. Seems every story reporting this quoted the Goodman story. So Goodman was the only one he supposedly talked to? You know better than to use Goodman for any purpose.

Big mistake results in a fix after two days. That's progress. Good games tonight that we can now watch without eye drops.

Official statement from Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark: “After consultation with the coaches of our four Semifinal teams, I have decided that in order to provide our student-athletes with the greatest level of comfort on a huge stage this weekend, we will transition to a hardwood court for the remainder of the Tournament. We look forward to a great Semifinals and Championship Game.”

@Big12Conference player complaints about the court — the colors and images, and it’s slick and one player (we know of so far) got a migraine. What about the refs? How are they holding up working on that bad court? Unsafe workplace?

So if Joe Lunardi is only the 125th best "bracketologist". That's quality expertise right there. And by the way...there are now apparently 186 people who claim expertise as "bracketologist". I read and watch none of it. I avoid poison ivy too.

#125 out of the 186 “bracketologists” Bracket Matrix graded last year. I point this out not to say that Joe is “bad” per se, but to let you know there are DOZENS of better, more reliable options. What Joe says is not Gospel!

@WaddleandSilvy Bears fans in this thread want a guy who can’t pass a physical.

@astraffon This makes interesting stories but in the end, none of the semantics or the law will matter. The Trump-owned Supreme Court will rule in favor of Trump and family’s financial interests in prediction markets. If you think they will follow the law, you are not paying attention.

@Justinrgagnon29 @ByZackHochberg Why should “expanding the base” be a goal? Giving every team a fair shot on a neutral court seems more desirable than stacking the deck for the top seed or the # of fans in the house. Many fans watch whatever games they bet on. Number of fans watching in person is irrelevant.
English

@ByZackHochberg I've been on this for awhile. If expanding the base of people that watch MAAC basketball is a goal at all this is no good. If you're a random casual college hoops fan in like des moines and you see the setting for this tournament it's a no go for you. You're on to another game
