Responders from agencies across Pennsylvania trained together last week when @PennStatePolice hosted the updated Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM) Advanced course which provides a shared way to practice how to manage an active shooter incident across community lines.

The @HamptonVAPolice hosted the updated ASIM Advanced course last week. Law enforcement, fire, EMS, Emergency Management, & Dispatch from across Virginia came together to work through this new version, which adds more hands‑on work on day one and refreshed scenarios.

School safety & public safety training leaders from across Northeast Massachusetts spent a day on SSAVEIM in Lynnfield, MA. The goal of SSAVEIM is to give those leaders a shared model for managing a violent event on campus and the difficult reunification work that follows.

Contact teams can do more than just secure the scene: use tourniquets & basic medical kits, quickly triage the room into reds & greens, & pass that information to the medics when the Rescue Task Force arrives to speed up care and beat the clock. #LawEnforcement #ActiveShooter
