@Gtyndall You voted that your daughters don’t have a right to medical care while pregnant. If they die from a wanted ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage, that’s on you.
We call that a shit Dad in Australia.
@CanPanicNow Get all the way the FUCK out of here.
People are tired, EXHAUSTED, of this exact shit. Identity politics.
And as a dad to 3 girls, I don’t vote on whether my girls can get pregnant from some random dude and then kill the baby for convenience. I’m a better father than that.
@HooliganWilder It’s embarrassing for you to post this in 2024. There were over a million people with Long Covid before vaccines were available. Your ignorance of history is not evidence. You’re years behind in basic knowledge.
Another 13yro girl initially labeled as FUNCTIONAL that had to travel from belgium to my #longcovid clinic in Rome to perform a simple test to document that simply standing up or walking in a boring hospital ward her heart rate goes up and down in a senseless way!

@surf4children I've been informed on Friday that tachycardia, PoTS, syncope are symptoms of FND. That if a patient has a test that shows these results with no other biomedical explanation (even with Ehlers Danlos) it is proof of an FND.
At my wits end.
@WhatNowDoc@broadwaybabyto NASA Lean test can be used instead of tilt-table, some patients can have terrible outcomes after a tilt-table, it should be considered as risky.
Many POTS patients also have MCAS & EDS. If you don’t know POTS you may be unfamiliar with these too.
For those, like me, that were not familiar with POTS:
POTS, or Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, is a condition affecting blood flow. It falls under a category of disorders called dysautonomia, where the autonomic nervous system doesn’t work as it should, particularly affecting heart rate and blood pressure control.
Key Features:
1.Heart Rate Increase: In POTS, the heart rate increases significantly when moving from lying down to standing (an increase of 30+ beats per minute in adults or 40+ in teens within 10 minutes of standing).
2.Low Blood Volume and Blood Pooling: Blood may pool in the lower body or abdomen, leading to reduced blood flow to the brain and other parts of the body.
3.Symptoms:
•Dizziness and lightheadedness (especially upon standing)
•Fatigue
•Palpitations (feeling a racing heart)
•Fainting or near-fainting episodes
•Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
•Nausea, headache, and sometimes shaking
4.Causes: The exact cause isn’t always clear but can include viral infections, autoimmune diseases, trauma, or even genetic predispositions.
Diagnosis and Treatment:
•Diagnosis: Often includes a tilt-table test, blood tests, and heart rate/blood pressure measurements in different positions.
•Treatment: May involve lifestyle changes (increased salt and fluid intake, exercise), medications to stabilize blood pressure or heart rate, and sometimes compression garments to improve circulation.
POTS can be challenging to manage and often requires a multidisciplinary approach, as it affects multiple systems in the body.
Me in ER with severe dehydration & tachycardia from POTS flare (undiagnosed at time)
Dr: “How much did you drink last night?”
Me: “I don’t drink”
Dr: “Tell the truth - if you don’t we can’t help”
Me: “I’m allergic to alcohol. I’ve had nothing to drink.”
Dr: “Don’t lie” 🧵 /1
So my legend of a cousin Lorcan just realised he was kind of important to the creation of @foofighters@FooFightersUK He saw a video by Dave Grohl talking about why he got back to work after a visit to Ireland. Lorcan was out hitchhiking wearing his nirvana top when Dave stopped
@ahmedyussuf10 On what evidence did you base your “psychological overlay” reference to Long Covid? Did you not notice during your research it’s a physical illness?
And when you say “nuclear waste won't end up in Australia, other than the waste that is generated by Australia” you destroy your own credibility. Facilities are being built at HMAS Stirling to house US and UK low level radioactive waste. 2/2 #AUKUS#auspolasa.gov.au/news/all-news/…
Hey @RichardMarlesMP, if you say “there is no circumstance where Australia would accept radioactive waste from foreign nations”, why does the Australian Naval Nuclear Safety Bill 2023 allow for it? 1/2 #AUKUS#auspolabc.net.au/news/2024-08-0…
@lesstenny Even if she legally wins this case.
She will still be remembered for how she behaved during and after this whole sorry saga.
Her reputation will still be in tatters because we know what she did do and also what she did not do.
Actions speak louder than words.
