Equal rights, lefts, and uppercuts
Everybody keeps asking me if I'm gonna run for 3rd Ward Alderperson. Yes. Yes, I am. Good luck to those that attempt to get in the way.

THIS. When Lewis Reed, JCM and fucking Jeffrey Boyd were charged with selling out STL for a McChicken and a value fry, the very same people calling for Keith's resignation, told us that we needed to wait for due process. Keep that same energy for Keith.
Alderwoman Alisha Sonnier@AlderSonnier

“At this time, to ask for his resignation is premature, and we ask that any consideration for such a vote be held until court proceedings conclude.” @AlderSheenBean @VDanielaV

Alderman Rasheen Aldridge. Jr (He/Him)
First and foremost, I want to extend my thoughts and prayers to officer Travis Brown and wish him a speedy recovery. The goal of the movement is to highlight the systemic issues that have oppressed marginalized communities like ours for decades. The unfortunate incident that occurred Friday night should not diminish the many milestones we have achieved over the past ten years. As an elected official who emerged from the Ferguson movement, I am committed to continuing the conversation and building bridges as we move toward progress.

Over a year has passed since STL's police chief took office with a salary partly paid by private donors, raising hard questions about influence and loyalty. Are policing priorities for sale? propublica.org/article/st-lou…

This is so wild. In the whole city of Stl there’s only 530 people in the cage without any reasonable rise in violence. Shout out to all the comrades that’s been working to decarcerate stl since 2017. There’s still so much work to be done. Abolition is possible.

Instead of meeting ppl’s social support needs with community based processes and support that actually prevent future violence, our judges and criminal legal system rely nearly 60% of the time on caging people pretrial. Investment into more social supports will reduce violence.
