@PGi Admitted my son in PGI CHANDIGARH. I have heard that PGI Chandigarh is one of the best institutions in India for treatment. However, we are having a very bad experience here considering humanity, treatment and approach. This may help other parents to think twice.

BROKERS ARE NOT SAINTS. NOR ARE WE A lot of brokers (including I myself) have been at times been culprit of highlighting pricing where they are better priced that other brokers. While keeping complete silence on a lot of charges where they charge much higher. Sometimes exorbitantly high. This to the audience gives a false understanding that the said broker is highly customer centric. In layman terms, it is akin to some sort of mis-selling. The fact is that all brokers, without exception, have multiple objectives. One of the common but large objectives is shareholder value. The point I am trying to make is that brokers will charge for some services and discount others. All brokers have a different way of doing things. Ultimately everyone needs to profitable as a going concern. Let’s take #KotkaNeo as an example. At Kotak we charge some, we discount some. Let’s first begin with what we charge on the higher side: - We charge btw 0.10% to 0.20% as delivery brokerage for those who open an account after they cross Age 30, Or those who opt for our Pro plan. (For those below 30, we are perhaps the best, will explain later) - We charge higher on DP AMC at ₹50 per month for ABOVE 30 catagory only. - We charge higher on DP transaction charges at 0.04% on sell transactions. But we are economical in many areas (rather most areas) - - We are ZERO BROKERAGE on delivery charges, if account is opened before age 30. (We don’t start charging if one crosses the age off 30) - We charge ₹10 per order in Intraday Equity trades (Half of what most digital brokers charge) - We charge ₹10 per order in F&O (Half of what most digital brokers charge) - We charge ZERO BROKERAGE on all API orders. No fixed monthly charge either. Unarguably, the best deal in the industry - On MTF we charge 9.69%pa MONTHLY COMPOUNDED in our Pro Plan. Perhaps amongst the lowest in the industry. (It’s btw 12-18% for most) - On Collateral Margin used overnight, at 8.99% we are amongst the lowest, if not the lowest. 50:50 rule applies. (This is 12-18% for most) - We have NRML order type where you don’t need to pay cash upfront, saving 0.01%-0.05% on cost by paying next day. (This is a hidden charge for all digital brokers). They enjoy 1 day float, sometimes 3 days. A massive income for many in lieu of brokerage. - We have amongst the widest collateral list. We allow stock margin to be given as collateral for MTF positions. We don’t force clients to give cash. - On DP AMC, we charge ZERO for those who open account before they turn age 30. (Zero brokerage too) - We charge as per guidelines on all BSDA accounts at ₹50/₹100 AMC. Also No DP AMC if holding value in DMAT account is below ₹1,000. F&O orders make the bulk of orders in the industry. At KotakNeo, we are discounting this largest pie of revenue. For cash too, we are perhaps the best for anyone who is under age 30. Rather, THE BEST. ALSO ABOUT OWNING UP YOUR FAULTS - While we strive to be flawless, I can say with a loud voice, NO ONE OWNS UP LIKE WE DO. If our clients face issues, we stand with them without wavering. Finally, We pride ourselves on ETHICS. We don’t hide. We pride ourselves on being transparent. We do not operate in Grey. @Ashish1Nanda @kotakneo At present thr is no option to see bifurcation of cash component and non cash component of total margin. Customer care asking to check each and every instrument under margin tab which is not a smart activity. Please provide bifurcation options.

Investor protection is upto $500,000 PER INVESTOR in the US if a broker fails. Other countries sit at min. 5X-10X levels. Did Groww forget to analyse the 360 degree angle of the story? Is Groww a bhakt broker?

@31amitpandey @bombayblue Somedays MCX market closes at 5pm which we forget to track. In such cases if exit time is fixed after 5pm thn the position remains open. If we select MIS orders it will auto square off on such days even if exit time is wrongly mentioned after 5pm.

@PlanDec8189 @Ashish1Nanda Good suggestion. Today, zerodha was down. Exited all open positions using Kite WA tool. Great feature by zerodha to manage/exit positions on downtimes. Would be really great if kotak can also get something like this.
