@Nozushii In my case, I will lab a replay in which I lost, see what every interaction I lost was and see what options I can consider. After doing that, I'll hop into ranked and play 2 sets and call it there. Next day I'll do the same thing. You don't need the same exact schedule ofc
Lowkey I don't know any match-ups in Tekken lmao.
I forgot most of the stuff from when I played Tekken 7 and my labbing method takes way too long, to the point where I don't think I'd be able to even play that many matches if I labbed fr. I'm not sure how to balance play and lab, and it's not fun to just lab all the time when I wanna actually play and enjoy the game.
When I lab I deadass take pen to paper, and go through a characters entire move-list basically figuring out how to play their character as I do mine, but I also have to find out how my character beats their stuff at the same time. It's especially hard when complex stances are involved. I have to then remember this info somehow, and then I also have to be able to react to the stuff I know and keep it in mind without thinking too hard during a read match, it's a lot.
So when people tell me to get good, it's actually just too much work when I am ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE at time management and life balance. It's the same reason why I don't draw often or why I haven't been studying language or anything extra, because I can't choose what to do and I don't know how much time I actually need to get decent at things. Because I already fell rather talentless, I feel like I have to invest so much time into things to reach just a fraction of what most people can achieve.
Does anyone have a legit fix or advice balance and time management?
What do you all do, how do you all learn and work on multiple things at once while also having time for fun?
