The old portal coaches could deny where you go now they can’t because all you do now is go to the compliance office & say I want to transfer they have 48 hours to put you in the portal & nobody can tell you where you cannot go!

The state of college baseball recruiting is so disheartening. Cutting kids because you can just go find someone else in the portal is going against everything college athletics is about. You recruited the player. Now go and give him a good experience and develop him.

@nickstrong No one is knocking JUCO’s. Many could beat top D1 teams. My kid chose P5 D1 school over top JUCO’s for education combined with outstanding opportunity. Up to him to take advantage. Nothing wrong with challenging yourself academically and athletically. Go Blue!

HS Kids who look down on JUCO Athletes choose 4 year schools and sit the bench behind JUCO Transfers. That right there will make you QUIT COLLEGE SPORTS!
