@Antonhundu @cozwva They should simply refund her, because there is no way there can be any such miscommunication where one believes it's cupboards being fitted and the other believes it's a kitchen being built from scratch, one is being dishonest, better to part ways and give back the money

1. The CCC caucus meeting held on 12/02/2026 at Parliament discussed many issues, including the legislative agenda for the year. It is in this spirit that I attended.
2.Following the meeting, a statement was issued indicating broad support for the amendments, including Amendment No. 3, which seeks to extend the parliamentary and presidential term limits to 2030.
3.I want to categorically, without contradiction or ambiguity, make it clear that I, Richard Tsvangirayi, do not support this particular amendment, which seeks to extend the term limits by about two years. This position has been consistent.
4. I have always said: if your political party is providing public goods and services effectively, why should you be afraid to go to an election? If you have the support of the people, you should not fear the accountability that comes with an election. I have served the people of Norton with all my heart, despite operating in a very challenging political environment. That is why I can walk freely in the streets of Katanga, knowing I have wronged no one. I am not afraid of accountability. My conscience is clear.
5. As Members of Parliament, when we speak in Parliament, we do not communicate our personal views; we communicate the views of the sons and daughters who put their trust in us to represent them. To communicate a personal position without consulting those who elected us is a betrayal of that trust. Hence, I will consult the people of Norton when the Bill comes out.
6. I have attended meetings hosted by Professor Welshman Ncube, and in December, I attended a dinner hosted by President Nelson Chamisa. Today, 14/02/2026, I was invited to a public lecture at MRT House by the MDC about my father—may his soul rest in peace. If it were not for other commitments, I would have attended. The point I want to make is this: there is nothing new or surprising about me attending meetings. Attending such meetings does not mean that I agree with every position that emerges from them.
Hon. Richard Tsvangirayi, MP

JUSTICE ON STRINGS: ZIMBABWE’S COURTS AND THE GREAT NATIONAL PUPPET SHOW:
By Reason Wafawarova
Zimbabwe’s justice system has long been suspected of running on mystery fuel, but in recent months it has become clear that what really powers the machine is slapstick theatre, selective outrage, and a curious obsession with turning trivialities into national spectacles—while letting the real elephants stroll out the courtroom door.
Take Act One: The Mugabe Jr Blockbuster.
Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi summoned the nation to what looked like the unveiling of the next major Netflix crime series. Cameras, microphones, urgency, drama—everything except dogs rappelling from helicopters. The ZRP announced Robert Mugabe Jr’s arrest in a “complex high-level intelligence drug bust,” complete with “accomplices,” who later turned out to be nothing more than unfortunate extras standing too close to the main character.
For a moment, Zimbabwe bravely imagined itself having conquered a Pablo Escobar. Two months later, after all the fireworks, after all the national airtime, after all the Emperor’s parade—drumroll:
Mugabe Jr was convicted of possessing 2 grams of marijuana.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen—two grams. Barely enough to roll a depressed matchstick.
Of course Mugabe Jr must not dabble in drugs. But turning a half-smoked weekend misadventure into the country’s most dramatic drug bust? That’s not justice. That’s public relations theatre. For the grand crime of 2 grams, he now must pay a $300 fine or spend four months in jail—a punishment no sane police officer anywhere in the world would waste a pen filling paperwork for.
Act Two: Enter Chimombe and Mpofu — The Goat Cartel.
After their fallout with Wicknell Chivayo, the two gentlemen—suddenly seized by pangs of conscience—released enough incriminating evidence to make a mafia accountant sweat. They exposed the rot behind the grotesquely corrupt ZEC tender: millions siphoned, agreements made, and the only real crime being that the trio could no longer agree on how to share the spoils.
So, of course, they were arrested—not for the ZEC heist they unveiled, but for a different goat scandal where they were paid US$7 million to supply livestock to villagers and delivered… well… nothing. Not a hoof. Not a bleat. Not even an apologetic goat emoji.
They were swiftly tried, convicted, and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) made a bold move: it applied to the High Court for seizure of their assets—mansions included. For a brief moment, Zimbabwe dared to believe justice had finally come home from whatever long-term sabbatical it has been on.
Then, in true Zimbabwean fashion, the NPA suddenly withdrew the application.
No explanation. No reason. No apology.
Just—“We were kidding. Please disperse.”
Act Three: The Invisible Author Behind the Curtain.
Who writes these scripts? Who decides which cases become national epics and which ones end abruptly during intermission? Who decrees that 2 grams of weed deserve a press conference, yet multi-million dollar corruption collapses quietly into the dust?
Zimbabwe is not witnessing justice. Zimbabwe is watching a choreographed performance, scripted elsewhere, acted by our police, directed by unseen hands, and performed in courts that now function like state-owned theatres. The law is not blind—it sees everything, and chooses targets with the precision of political instruction.
The result?
A justice system that dances, not to the Constitution, but to the rhythm of power.
Zimbabweans deserve a justice system—not a circus, not a soap opera, and certainly not a puppet show where the strings are pulled in political backrooms while the nation is told to clap on cue.
Until the day justice is allowed to walk on its own legs, we must endure this tragicomedy—equal parts farce, satire, and insult.
But one thing is clear:
This is not law.
This is choreography.
And the nation is tired of being the audience.

If NRZ is to be given money it must be for overhauls & not for patching. If China can build G train wch travels 350kms/hr with precision, safety and pride why should we settle for less? In China the G train covers 1319kms from Beijing to Shanghai in under 5hrs. Thats like going from Harare to Victoria Falls twice before lunch! Our people deserve better. Time is money. Time is dignity
