This morning, we broke ground on 5 playground renovations as a part of the Let'sPlaySF! campaign! The ceremony, held at the Panhandle Playground, marked the beginning of construction at that site & 4 others: Alice Chalmers, McLaren Park, Merced Heights & Sgt. Macaulay Playground.

We re-opened the McLaren Community Garden w/ additional plots to accommodate 4 times the number of gardeners! The renovated site also features a new greenhouse, gazebo, & plaza. Decorative panels created by @RecologySF artist-in-residence Jim Growden adorn the pedestrian gates.
