🥎🔥 Falcons Fly High on Opening Day 🔥🥎 Cedar Crest kicked off the 2026 season in emphatic fashion, erupting for 15 runs in the first inning on the way to a 26-0 victory over William Penn. The Falcons piled up hits, walks, and timely swings in a dominant start to the spring campaign. Elli Malinoski led the charge with four RBI, while Addison Nolen was sharp in the circle with six strikeouts over three shutout innings. 🏀 Falcons Show Fight in State Playoff Loss 🏀 The Cedar Crest Falcons went toe-to-toe on the road with WPIAL power Upper St. Clair on Saturday, battling their way to a tie game at halftime in the opening round of the PIAA State Basketball Playoffs. Upper St. Clair was able to create some separation in the second half, but Cedar Crest showed plenty of grit and gave a strong account of itself against a quality opponent on the road. It was the kind of performance that showed this group can compete — and that there are good things ahead for the program. The Falcons finish the season at 14-14, and with Coach Smith set to return a talented core from a very young squad, the future looks bright for Crest.

Lily returns for her third season & will compete in the USL W League this summer! A Cedar Crest HS alum, Lily is currently a junior at Mount St. Mary’s University in the MAAC. Prior to that, she competed at Jacksonville University, earning ASUN All-Freshman Team recognition.

🚨Howard Wins Gold x 2, Smashes Record 🚨 At the Pennsylvania State Indoor Track & Field Championships at Penn State, Cedar Crest’s Kaddel Howard delivered another historic weekend. Howard won her 4th consecutive Indoor State Championship in the 400m, taking gold in 53.03 — and she did it by smashing the meet record of 53.82 that had stood since 2005. It’s her 4th straight indoor 400m title and her 7th state gold medal in the event. Though, Howard wasn't done! Howard came back to win the 200m in 23.51, tying the state record. With that gold, she now has SIX indoor state championships to her name. Howard is committed to the University of Florida 🐊 But, before she heads to Gainesville, we still have one more outdoor season to enjoy this local phenom!
