Democrats just got caught lying about fighting fraud. Yesterday, they introduced a watered-down version of the OIG bill, a bill that was our #1 priority in 2025. The chief author and the chair of the committee where it was heard both LIED about collaborating with the Senate author, Senator Gustafson, on the D.E. (new bill language). Sen. Gustafson released a statement saying she had NO INVOLVEMENT with the watered-down D.E. presented in committee. But Reps. Norris and Klevorn said on the floor and in committee: Rep. Norris (D-Blaine): "We teamed up with Senator Gustafson to introduce this bill..." Rep. Klevorn (D-Plymouth): "This D.E. is the result of House homework with the Senate author..."

Minnesotans should ask a simple question: What exactly is she changing—when she helped create the problems? Senator Klobuchar was a cheerleader for Tim Walz, endorsing and defending him as Minnesota slid into a decade of decline. Under their leadership, more than half of Minnesota students cannot read or do math at grade level, massive fraud went unchecked, property taxes skyrocketed, and families were forced out of their homes. If she supported this record then, why should Minnesotans believe she would govern any differently now?
