@Choosen_1 @MrPitbull07 I'm 74, spent my life avoiding chemicals in our food. I was told to get a root canal (ouch!) & got it pulled instead. Now, I once had an honest & talented dentist do a filling on another tooth that a cheat dentist had said needed a root canal. Sometimes a tooth can be saved. xx

My friend has a severe tooth infection. His face is swollen. He is in agony. He went to the dentist. Option A: Root canal and crown to save the tooth. Cost: $2,200. Option B: Pull the tooth. Cost: $250. He works full-time. He has "health" insurance. But health insurance doesn't consider teeth to be part of the human body. He chose Option B. He is 28 years old and had to mutilate his smile because he couldn't afford to save it. Teeth shouldn't be luxury items.
