A landmark moment at Birmingham Curzon Street. 🏗️ Engineers have completed all 2,011 concrete piles that will form the foundations of the new station — each one sunk up to 24 metres into the ground. The team also excavated 47,000 cubic metres of material to create a level base for the station. With the piling now complete, attention turns to preparing the way for the Digbeth extension to the West Midlands Metro and the completion of the remaining foundation works.
