@seftonhanley @FurkanGozukara We wrote these laws for a reason. All countries are accountable for breaking them, it just often takes time to end a war first. No one should get a pass but typically the superpowers always do. So the will get away with it just like the school bombing

@jacktla We always stay in Ebisu which we love. On the Yamanote line which is important to me, terrific food everywhere and local places that know us. Same hotel maybe 20 times now.

Always stay in Shibuya (teens lol) but this time rooms were hard to come by so ended up in Akasaka. Really liking this neighborhood- they're used to tourists but not super tourist-trap-y (yes, that's a word lol) like in Shibuya. Seems gotta connect a bit too much on trains though

Interesting, seems like Thai Airport Authority set the policy that only Miracle and Coral could be on Priority Pass so 7 lounges left the program in April 2025.

Wow, I realise I'm late to the party on this but I finally had a reason to register for the updated digital Priority Pass from UOB. Just checked that app to see what lounges are available. Miracle and Coral only. What complete crap.

@DashellRFittry No way. I've been avoiding middle east connections for years, the risk levels are just unpredictable especially now. Consider Ethiopia or turkish air as a connection, or go via hk. There is also air Canada bkk-yvr then route to US.

@Thunder261 Seen way too may heads open on roads here to get on a bike. Did 3x in 20 yrs. Regretted each time. Common sense tells u this place is too dangerous for it unless you are a highly skilled driver that has spent months or yrs watching how local cars drive, and are driving yourself

Wishing her a full recovery, but cases like this are also a reminder how many people move to places like Thailand without health insurance, leaving families to face huge medical bills when something goes wrong
