Someone just broke the same encryption Bitcoin uses on a public quantum computer in 45 minutes Yesterday an Italian researcher named Giancarlo Lelli broke a 15 bit elliptic curve key in 45 minutes on a publicly accessible quantum computer It's the same math that secures every Bitcoin wallet, every Ethereum address and around $2.5 TRILLION in digital assets He used around 70 qubits on cloud hardware, no national lab, no special equipment and won 1 BTC for it The estimate of qubits needed to break Bitcoin's full key has dropped from 13 million in 2022 to under 500,000 weeks ago, then days later another study cut it 50x lower at 10,000 That's a 1,300x reduction since 2022, with most of the drop in the last six months Right now 6.9 MILLION BTC, around $520 billion, sit in addresses with public keys already exposed on chain That includes Satoshi's 1.1 million BTC, permanently visible and impossible to migrate because he's not coming back to move them BlackRock tripled the quantum risk disclosure in its $64 billion Bitcoin ETF prospectus, warning quantum computing could result in "losses to Shareholders" A Federal Reserve working paper called "harvest now, decrypt later" an active threat in September 2025, meaning state actors are already collecting public keys today to crack them when the hardware catches up Quantum has been a future problem for 15 years Yesterday the future arrived

@asaio87 To me reddit is a read-only platform. Mods are fucking children acting like they own the playground and try to bully everyone within that playground lol. Fuck reddit. I think Linkedin could even be a better place than Reddit lmao

I got banned from Reddit today Who moderates the SEO subreddit should be given 1 pound of sugar because they are a bitter person. I posted 1 post without promoting anything, was genuine, some myths about seo and they got me permanently banned. I feel like reddit is driven by personal interests of their moderators

Nikita Bier is a corrupt bitch that needs to be fired. He's working overtime to destroy X with his toxic traits. - Changing the Iranian flag because of his personal beliefs. - Banning accounts because of his personal opinion - Demonetizing accounts because of his personal opinion - Adding features because of his personal opinion X became his personal playground. The fucking twat needs to be dealt with.

X isn't about "original content" you dummy. X is about connecting people and delivering valuable content. X is not a personal vlogging platform. There's barely any account on X who post original content. All content is a fork of other content, just modified a bit. Accounts are being demonetized for posts like yours, simply quoting another tweet. Now look at the other image I've attached. That guy is doing exactly the same. Quoting a post, and he got demonetized for doing so.

Yesterday I created a parody account: Nikita Beir. And it was banned in less than 24h. It’s the freedom of speech you @elonmusk always talking about? Feels like another WhatsApp or Viber. Here is what happened: I got tons of organic activity and reposts under my tweets. And cool guys like @slingoorio even RT-ed me twice and followed me, which means a lot for a fresh account. I made a lot of tweets joking about @nikitabier decisions, as all my feed was full of hate against him. He’s doing things nobody asked for: - Deleted “Community” feature. I’ve never seen anyone who supported this decision. More than that, I’ve seen hundreds of tweets asking him not to do that. - XChat. Nobody understands why there is a secondary app. Maybe you want to compete with Telegram, but come on - Telegram didn’t launch a separate app for posting. - Removing access to API for third-party apps like Kaito. Yes, there were some bots, but more importantly, 80% of people worked hard building real connections and writing tweets. I know a lot of guys who started with AI-generated tweets and then found their own style. Kaito gave them a start. If you’re creating a fresh account, it’s very hard to even get 1,000 followers. You @nikitabier made so many “big” updates but still can’t fix basic things. For more than yearI’ve been facing the same bug: if I copy text from Grok chat and try to paste it into a tweet, it looks very weird - no formatting, no paragraphs, no line breaks. I’ve had this problem on Windows, Mac, and iOS And now I want to go back to the main message: The day that Nikita Bier (or Beir) came to X is the day 9/11 for freedom of speech. Of course Nikita can start as usual posting random info about account like - we banned it because after checking we got that you have 200 bots. Or that i said “n” word a few times (which 80% of ct do). Freedom of speech is officially DEAD.

Nah it's my bad for not mentioning it lol. But it's not a spam bot tho, it's just a copy paste message he sends to everyone. I noticed a mistake where he forgot to replace the domain of a previous site he messaged, with my domain. I don't mind receiving them, I just troll them instead and tell them "feel free to abuse this vulnerability"

@CEOofLazarus @asaio87 My bad, I just read it too quickly and jumped to a conclusion. But if you are a Cloudflare user, there is an option in the Scrape Shield section called Email Address Obfuscation that fights spam bots.

I get one of these emails every single week I mean, I am sure there are bugs in every app thats out there, but I am sure most of these are fake. How legit is finding a bug then asking for money to show it to you ?

Nikita just called loud complainers a fraud. Things are heating up. The X community is erupting, and the topic of monetization is trending. Do you agree or disagree that Nikita should be fired?

@HomoIllusion @icanvardar Me along with many others actually had a better experience with Claude. Even though 9 out of 10 times I just use Codex lol. But since recently GPT 5.5 got released, perhaps that one beats Claude

@CEOofLazarus @icanvardar Statements: “Claude is better than Codex, except for when refactoring a codebase & “Codex doesn’t stop is why the exception is true” My counter statement: “Neither is clearly better or worse. It depends on work context & harness quality. It’s also a world of many models”

@Onyxx9999 @jpthor @monero @THORChain Very happy to see XMR being added to more swaps. Only thing that worries me is: If someone sends a huge amount of dirty Bitcoin to THORChain, and I actually want to exchange my XMR to Bitcoin... Wouldn't I risk receiving contaminated Bitcoin? 🤔

🚨Coming Soon: Monero on THORChain. @jpthor shared the update, @monero is heading native to @THORChain This means private, trustless cross chain swaps are on the way. No KYC, no tracking. 🥷 Monero’s privacy combined with THORChain’s liquidity creates a solid Freedom Stack. Looking forward to seeing how this develops. What do you think? 👀 $XMR $RUNE @monero @THORChain #FreedomStack #Privacy #DeFi #FreedomMoney

- Hence why when refactoring a code base, I do it with Codex. When implementing a very small simple feature, I do it with Claude. Ofcourse, now I sound like the typical "vibe coder". But I hate relying on AI. I simply use it as a tool and make sure to understand all choices it made and all code it produced before letting it even touch production

I didn't say Codex is better lol. Claude is better than Codex. But Codex is more affordable and more fair than Claude when it comes to tokens and limits. My point being: When refactoring with Codex, you have a lower chance of it stopping in the middle of a refactor. While with Claude, the chance of it stopping in the middle of a refactor is very high.
