Remember after Carney Chukwuemeka's loan, he refused to move anywhere else apart from Dortmund. That's the work Dortmund did in the background and why Chelsea don't want to become a victim again with Anselmino. Even if Anselmino is up for sale, it puts Chelsea in a difficult situation if he only wants Dortmund. It's a case of accepting whatever they offer us for him or the player won't move. It's a dirty tactic.

Aaron Anselmino was doing well at Borussia Dortmund.
Prior to injury he’d played the full 90 in 3 of their 5 Bundesliga games, the club were impressed with him, he seemed to be enjoying his loan.
So for Chelsea to recall him, not to play him, despite their difficulties signing a centre back this month, purely to send him to Strasbourg, a club where he won’t be exposed to the same level of football…
Just seems petty.
Reportedly it’s because BlueCo didn’t like their comments about signing him permanently!
