@GentleDoofus @andrew12la I like this comparison but I also hate it because I think Hardy lacks the capacity for true evil that Brando always had bubbling just below the surface. I can’t wait to see him be just as good of an actor without the actual darkness.

Hardy strikes me as a real Brando type: excels at thuggish types with wounded souls, definitely at least bisexual, loves doing a funny voice, getting puffier with age, a 5 megaton diva on set.
