Currently accepting applications for Women's Fund grants: nonprofit program or project that helps women in need. Deadline to apply is 5:00 pm, October 31, 2022. Recipients will be announced at the Women's Fund's holiday party on December 15, 2022.

Currently accepting applications for Community Enhancement grants: nonprofit program or project that enhances Rochester, Rochester Hills and/or Oakland Township. Apply by 5:00 pm, October 1, 2022. Recipients will be announced at the Foundation's Tailgate Party on October 27, 2022

The CFGR is proud to administer the Rochester Lions Club Todd Minbiole Scholarship. Eligibility: RCS graduating seniors continuing education or training who have maintained a 2.75 GPA, are actively involved in and demonstrate a contribution to community volunteerism and service.

The Rochester-Avon Historical Society established its Endowed Fund at the Community Foundation in 2006 to support its programs and activities. It hosts many free events. Upcoming "Genetic Genealogy: Using DNA Tests for Family History" on 10/5. Check out rochesteravonhistoricalsociety.org

Chief Financial Credit Union's "Rise Above" Scholarship is for RCS graduating seniors attending ACE or OSTC who have exhibited perseverance, character, academic achievement and maintained twelve months of continuous employment. More info is available at cfound.org

The Girls of the Crescent (GOTC) Fund makes distributions to organizations and programs that support, promote and fund the purchase and donation of culturally diverse books to libraries, schools and other similar resources, with an emphasis on children and teen literature.

Community Enhancement Grant applications (cfound.org) being accepted until 9/1/21. Eligible projects must enhance Rochester, Roch Hills or Oakland Twp. Grants will be announced at the Tailgate Party on 11/4/21. Sponsorships available. Individual tickets are $100.

The Friends of the Clinton River Trail established its Fund at the Foundation in 2007. The Fund provides support for the development, administration, marketing, fundraising and related activities, expenses and programs that promote, enhance and support the Clinton River Trail.

Donors have established several funds for the benefit of Rochester Hills. "The Community Foundation truly is a community partner. Many of our local nonprofits and individuals are able to have a secure place to manage funds for projects and giving." Mayor Bryan K. Barnett.
