The passport is dumb especially since most Americans have a real ID which was federally mandated. A passport is a poll tax it's about what 165 to renew (renewed mine last year don't remember the cost). If they're going to do that then passports should be free but how long would it take to process all those applications?

This is precisely what we did in Vietnam. It's what we did to a degree in Afghanistan, too. And Iraq 2003. In this case, remember your Ralph Peters: if you don't pay the butcher's bill upfront, you'll pay it with interest on the backend of such a deal. Personally, we shouldn't be sending ANYONE into this mess. We should be ending the war. But Trump is totally committed. This will be his Vietnam. And our kids will pay for it.

They had robots that delivered supplies and other stuff at a military hospital like 26+ years ago. I remember helping the robot get through a door that wasn't opening and having it thank me. I'm just hoping future robots gain some sort of cosmic memory and can remember my actions.

I'd also state that we're spending $1 trillion per year on this defense apparatus and it can't sustain a single aircraft carrier or defeat an enemy that has a small fraction of the resources that the Pentagon has at its disposal. What are we paying for exactly??

In the last week, the president has claimed he spoke to a former US president who encouraged him to keep going with this most unpopular/stupid war--all the living former presidents deny ever having spoken w/ Trump about this--the president has announced an end to the war, when in fact, we were escalating, and the president has asserted he had secret negotiations with the Iranian leadership about ending the war, only to have the Iranians deny this ever occurred and to insist that they were continuing this most stupid/unpopular war. In essence, the president does not seem well.
