Top teams are loved and loathed. There is plenty to like about Arsenal - Saka, Rice, academy, resilience - but also plenty that annoys/angers rival fans. It's always been like this. Stand up for/to the champions. (And they've not even won it yet). #AFC 1/2

I have today issued a statement calling on the Prime Minister to resign.
This is not something I do lightly. I have known and supported him for many years, but the Labour Party is losing the trust of the people we were elected to serve.

Hence why so many LibDems and SNP also won. Why Greens won rural shire targets too.
And why turnout dropped, and in many constituencies the Labour *share* also dropped.

I have nothing but respect for Sir Keir Starmer. He transformed our party and led us to an election victory.
But sadly it is clear now that to deliver on our promise of change and to secure Britain’s future, we must look to a new leader.
