i am very glad we got what we wanted but i will say… it annoyed me after standing in line for 2 hours, to see people show up 30 minutes before the store opened to cut everyone in line and stand with their friend who was already in line 🫠

I hate that I’m typing this… Buddy and I say goodbye at home on Thursday afternoon. Today he had surf and turf donated by a sweet friend, pizza, more PB and treats. We had short visits to the field we walk by daily and the bay. My brother, nieces and nephew came over with hand-drawn cards. I’m filled with misery, regrets, guilt, pure anger, and absolute despair. I feel like my heart and soul are dying inside of my body. I’m losing so much of myself. I’ve always yearned for kids, and I always wanted him to be a big brother and I knew he would be the best if I had kids. He was always so patient, gentle and slow with my nieces and nephew. I adopted him with my first apartment, he’s moved into four homes and came to visit our house as it was being built. I don’t know my home without Buddy. I don’t know me without Buddy. I don’t want life without Buddy. I’m still in disbelief. I’m being robbed of years we should have had left. Anyone who met/knew Buddy always said he was so gentle, so smart, so patient, so chill. He always looked at me, listened, and waited for what I told him. It’s truly like he knew every word I said. Never got into anything, never ripped a toy… he didn’t know the words “bad” or “no” because he was never really told them. He’s my soul dog, my heart dog. He was the best running Buddy, companion in his bike trailer, snuggler, and protector. He helped heal me through my DV recovery and helped me get out of the door that night. I cannot believe our time is being cut short. Thank you all from my bottom of my heart, for all the kind words and gestures. I want to respond to all soon. But just know I’m feeling your love and support. Tomorrow is our last full day together. Please keep us in your thoughts.

They said I’m not strict, I have high expectations and they are expected to meet them. 😂 I told them those are the same things, but apparently I’m wrong. 😂
