Sirens are sounding once again across Bahrain as another wave of Iranian missiles and/or drones are inbound.

According to a release from U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), the U.S. has completed its latest round of retaliatory strikes against Iran, following their targeting of commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Per the release, over 80 targets, including air defense systems, command and control networks, coastal radar sites, anti-ship missile capabilities, and more than 60 IRGC small craft, were hit in the strikes. U.S. officials have told news outlets that they will assess the outcomes of these strikes before moving forward.

After 18 incredible years of broadcasting Augustana College basketball, Dan and I are stepping down. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Associate Athletic Director @WrathDave for believing in us and giving us this opportunity, even with no prior experience.

Our final game we called together was a home win against a very good Illinois Wesleyan team, and I can’t think of a better way to exit from 18 enjoyable years. Stay together and keep coming Augie hoops!

For many years Dan and I traveled with the team for road games and were always treated with professionalism and respect from other CCIW SID’s and athletic directors. The CCIW is truly a class conference and that is proved every year.

The Vikings never quit, never got down, and they played Hard. Smart. Together. Battled back in the 2nd half and almost pulled off a tremendous comeback. As an alumni, supporter, and fan I cannot help but be incredibly proud of these young men. You have made the Augustana community proud.
