The irony of those who rode Trump’s coat-tails to post-Fox exile riches, or came out of nowhere by riding his jock like Candace, now turning on him is we are so early in his presidency they likely flipped way too early. He’s in the world’s most powerful office, barring Father Time, another two and a half years. And regardless of the outcome of the midterms, the base will be more unified behind him than ever before a year from now. If the midterms go poorly, nothing unites folks like an impeachment cause “they’re coming for my guy.” And if they defy the history and the polls and actually go well, folks are gonna rally around the MAGA flag even harder because Trump saved the GOP from itself again.

It’s going unnoticed because so much other news is happening, but the war drums are beating again in D.C. The warmongers worry this is their last chance to get the white whale they’ve been chasing for thirty years, an all-out regime change war against Iran. A new Middle East war would be a catastrophic mistake. Our military stockpiles are depleted from three years of backing Ukraine. Our effort to reshore manufacturing has only just begun and will take years to bear fruit. War would worsen our already immense deficit and national debt. Iran is larger than Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan combined. A war would not be easy and could easily become a calamity. Thanks to President Trump’s restraint during his first term, America has a golden opportunity to pull away from Middle East quagmires for good. We shouldn’t throw that opportunity away so that sone D.C. has-beens can feel tough by sending young Americans to die yet again.

I picked the Wildcats to win it all this year....just the Arizona variety. Go Zona!

@mike_daddino Thought the ball has to be in play for them to not grant that tho? If it’s not in play I thought any team could call timeout?

@CGBS6183 @TheFieldOf68 Coach did try calling timeout, but he needs to call it to the baseline ref that watches the in-bounds pass (Padilla) and not the sideline official. Always foul up 3 under 5 seconds left.

Santa Clara HC Herb Sendek said he called a timeout before Otega Oweh's buzzer-beater 👀 "I unequivocally called timeout. But they didn't grant it."

@jimrome Once the ball is in the inbounding players hands the ref starts his 5 count. The opposing coach cannot call time out at that point. Coach was too slow. Further he tried to chase down the Midcourt ref when he soulda went to the Baseline ref.
