Mifepristone is safer than Tylenol yet radical, right-wing judges emboldened by Trump and Republicans are once again weaponizing the law against women seeking abortion care. Abortion is health care. My great grandmother died because abortion was illegal. To restrict the use of safe medication is unconscionable and will cost lives.

Doctors — not judges — should be the ones providing medical advice to women. Mifepristone has been safely used for years. This ruling is an attack on every woman's right to make her own health care decisions, and it must not stand.

The Fifth Circuit just told millions of women that three judges know better than the FDA, their doctors, and 25 years of evidence. They don't. This restriction on medication abortion is a nationwide abortion restriction, full stop. I have no intention of letting this stand.
