Today was the second day of the National Careers Challenge with Y10 taking part in the @Gymshark challenge. Well done to the whole year group for embracing the tasks and coming up with so many creative ideas and presentations. Well done to Shark Bite who will now go to the finals

Our Y7s embraced the National Careers Challenge today sponsored by @airproducts. Every team worked brilliantly, focusing on each task to design a sustainable town of the future 🌱 Congratulations to the winning team who will represent @CGSBucks at the National Finals in July!

It was a pleasure to welcome back Maisie and Grace (Class of 2025) to @CGSBucks today. They offered fantastic advice to students on how to make the most of Y12 including work experience, preparing for mocks, making the most of open days, and using helpful platforms for next steps

The school is now closed for Christmas until Friday January 2nd 2026. Wishing everyone a wonderful festive season.

Members of our Student Senior Leadership Team have been out and about in Chesham today, delivering Christmas hampers to local care homes for the elderly. Many thanks to our parents for their very generous donations.

Many thanks to students and staff involved in Christmas in Words and Music last night. In the beautiful setting of Broadway Baptist Church, we were treated to a wonderful range of music and readings from students across the school.

Year 7&8 Girls played a friendly football tournament against Holmer Green School. Some wins, draws and loses, and some great play from all students

Well done to the Yr 9 Rugby squad, who were exceptional in a narrow 14-19 defeat to DCGS. Some top performances were rewarded with tries for Oscar & Lennon, both converted by Billy. In their first ever game, Jack E & Bobbie H were fantastic, as were Freddie, Toby, Ethan & Jac

What a great charity day today, raising money for Save The Children. An amazing range of Christmas jumpers on show and a very competitive football match at lunchtime involving staff and Sixth Formers. Well done all and thank you Olivia and Alice, Shakespeare House Captains.

Well done to the Under 14 Girls Football team who battled tirelessly against Surbiton High School, the ESFA champions for the last two years. The girls were 2-1 down with 15 minutes to play but couldn’t find that elusive equaliser, conceding a few goals. PoM: Isabelle S
