Senator @CindyCoyneRI says 10 round limit is not arbitrary. It was the law of the land from 1994 to 2004. Ten states have high capacity magazine limits, most at 10 rounds. She says it has become "de facto standard" for the industry and manufacturers could readily comply.

Our legislature is poised to make vital progress on gun control in RI. The House last week passed 3 measures to improve gun safety, action in the Senate is expected this week.
