@jl_mccabe I'll stick with giving my children the vaccines that keep them from catching a virus multiple times per year. Sorta old school that way. Call me crazy. Put some more flags in your name there, Rainbow Connection.

This pathetic excuse for a man cheered as your 12 year old daughter was "flicked" out of society for not taking a vaccine that didn't work. Because, ultimately, he is as unbelievably cowardly as he is incredibly stupid. So it is fitting he be awarded the Order of Canada.

The Strait of Hormuz is about to get the same kind of help from the Canadian government that Canadians have received for the last 10 years. Condolences to the Strait of Hormuz.

Our country is being run only for the benefit of people: Who will be dead in 8 years. Or people: Who wouldn't have an income if the government didn't make up their job.

💯💯💯 I myself was offered MAiD by an attending physician, in front of a family member I had brought for support/witnesss, the physician knowing full well that I am the primary caregiver to two minor children. She offered MAiD yet refused to refer me directly to a nerve pain treatment common in 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇺 My family member held his shock until we stepped out the front door of the facility. $365 four times a year for life changing pain mediation. How much would it have cost Canada to have my two sons grow up knowing their country killed their mother to save a health care system $1,460/year that she worked almost 4 decades paying taxes for. The road to hell is paved with NDA’s and out of control liability law plus regulatory capture now…

Despite these changes, Canada's economy will still qualify for MAiD in Alberta.

My fourth cousin, twice removed, worked as a prop and costume assistant with Daniel Day-Lewis during the filming of The Last of the Mohicans. And I will put that on my resume. When I apply as a government consultant at šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmasəm & Turtle Ltd.

@AnnabelleEdge4U Generally speaking, Im a free enterprise guy when it comes to what people decide to do to themselves. Where I take issue is when ppl lose hope because the state has failed to live up to its part of the bargain in providing reasonable, timely care. That's what we pay it for.

The problem is, there are some conditions, particularly those that cause nerve system irreparable damage, that the daily constant pain and immobility, is too much suffering for even the most faithful to bare. We can't/won't mitigate these people's pain or provide adequate mobility support. MAiD is a mercy in these cases of physical disease/injury. If one takes one's own life there is no opportunity to repent. Even these ghoul MD's pushing MAiD pre-emptively have the time on this earth to repent before they push daisies themselves.

If you really wanted to fix the country, take a poll on 4000 different things, and any answers that you get where the news headline would read: "75% of Canadians Support..." Do the exact opposite.

@Negrilgrown You spelled: "If they hadn't stopped me from working to try to keep everyone from catching a bad cold - which we all caught 4 times anyway - and then paid me to sit on my ass while inflation spiked to 8%" wrong.

@CGWeatherHub @argueswithbots The problems you are wanting fixed aren't caused by taxes. They are caused by bad policy. If you want fixes advocate for EU building codes and density, more transit, less car dependence. This will bring CoL down making money go further. Also gov debt when invested grows GDP.

Canada's method of SEVERELY overtaxing & overregulating society, crushing productivity & growth, filtering $ through a bloated bureaucracy, then sprinkling tiny scraps back over the bottom economic bracket (to try to keep them from starving to death) will eventually stop working
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

The new Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit puts money back in the pockets of more than 12 million Canadians. That’s up to $1900 this year to help you with everyday costs.
